Get Ready for AV’s 2nd Science Fair

 TIMELINE:

• October 22, 2025: Informational call at 8pm. Registration opens at the end of the call. Please join the link below to learn more: https://meet.google.com/int-uzzj-vyd
• November 15, 2025: Registration for the Science Fair closes. Parents need to commit to their volunteering role. https://forms.gle/u83ASNFUpSzHDpebA
• December 15, 2025: Students are given mentors, if requested. All students submit their team members (if applicable) and topic for approval.
• January 15, 2026: Students are notified if their project is approved. Projects that are not approved have to be reworked based on the feedback given.   
• Feb 15, 2026: All student projects must be approved by this date. Mentors finish holding their 1st mentor meeting.
• March 15, 2026: Mentors finish holding their 2nd mentor meeting.
• April 15, 2026: Mentors finish holding their 3rd mentor meeting.
• April (final date TBD): Optional Rehearsal, Mentor can help their students prep
• May 2, 2026: Science Fair! Set up at 9am, Fair is from 10am-12pm. Judges will choose the top projects per grade.

Expectations:

1. The kids will have to work independently on their project. 
2. All parents must volunteer. Estimated time commitment is 4-8 hours over the entire period.
